Hard to believe that we're on the edge of yet another new year. Things are beginning to look better, but there are still lingering challenges for IT and telecom managers to overcome.

  3. Attract and cultivate a new generation of IT employees. They’re young, smart, talented and attuned to a whole new level of information technology. A smart move is to bring a few of them on board, take them under your wing and see how much you can learn from them.

  4. Take your place at the big table. And it’s about time. IT has weathered one of the most challenging periods in modern history, having to turn on a dime to serve an almost instant base of remote employees and yet keep the network up and running. No small task and you’ve got plenty of valuable input to share as your organization prepares for 2022. Make sure you’re part of that dialog.

  5. Stop doing everything yourself. You know who the experts out there are. It’s time to become more strategic about using them.
